Argenta attend No Fault Found 4th Annual Symposium to find out more about the common issue

Last month our Managing Director, Chris Woodhams, attended the 4th Annual Symposium in No Fault Found (NFF) which was held at Cranfield University and organised by Through-life Engineering Services (TES). As something which Chris hadn’t attended before he was impressed with the different speakers which were all very interesting as they came from across both industry and academia providing different points of view on the subject. These included BAE Systems, Rolls Royce and Aachen University. There were also project posters on display which outlined projects which different companies produced linked to “completed work, relevant results of work in progress, or successful systems and applications, in all areas related to the No Fault Found.”

Chris identified that “challenges with replicating faults is something we come up against in our work within the Aerospace industry. Hearing about other people’s experiences gave an insight into the complexity and also the scale of the potential cost savings.”

This is confirmed by the organisers who identified that “No Fault Found (NFF) is a widespread problem for aerospace, transport and technology organisations because it has a huge impact on operating costs, downtime and even safety”.

With many leading companies within the aerospace sector attending, Chris also found it useful for networking and talking about similar issues that other businesses were having (over a cup of coffee or two!).
