Patrick takes on the Birmingham Half Marathon!

On October 16th one of our Systems Developers, Patrick Herron, will be taking on the challenge of the Birmingham Half Marathon in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital.
A grueling 13.1 miles around the fantastic city of Birmingham taking in the sights of Cadbury World and Edgbaston Cricket Club, although Patrick assures us that he won't have much energy for sightseeing! Chris Woodhams, Managing Director of Argenta, confirms how proud we are of Patrick taking time out to train for the iconic Midlands event in aid of such a great cause. It's certainly something that we would rather be a spectator for!
Birmingham Children's Hospital is a cause close to Patrick's heart after being treated there himself when he was younger, but more recently they looked after his nephew when he became very poorly and was admitted to their Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) last Christmas. In order to thank the doctors and nurses for helping care for his nephew Patrick is training hard in order to raise as much money as possible.
We will be getting behind Patrick in the next few weeks supporting his training and fund raising, if you see him on the course please give him a shout of encouragement!
