Argenta welcome a new member to their team!

Patrick Herron joined the Argenta team just before Christmas so we gave him a few weeks to settle in before we took some time out to have a chat about what made him decide to apply for a job with Argenta.
Having previously worked for another solutions provider, Patrick decided it was time to move back to the routes he loved – coding. As his previous job role had moved away from this he decided he needed a change to return to what he enjoys most. His interest in coding starting when he studied a module within his Maths degree called ‘Graphs, Networks and Design’ which introduced him to the world of algorithms and frameworks.
Patrick is looking forward to getting stuck in to “new projects focusing on a variety of different industries” in order for him to continue his own professional development and of course to provide solutions to our supply chain and data management clients. He identified that a key aspect in him changing jobs was the ability to work for an SME but at the same time be able to start and finish a project which doesn’t always happen in larger companies.
Argenta’s Managing Director, Chris Woodhams, commented that “with the supply chain and data management side of our business continuing to expand it was imperative that we took on someone enthusiastic with the ability to solve the complex challenges of our clients. Patrick impressed us with his ability to solve problems, also, his experience with simulation will help us grow this area of the business”.
